When designing a vessel for pharmaceutical process industry, several considerations must be made. Therefore, it is very valuable to be able to make a few quick sketches of the vessel, before the real design work takes place.
The physical size and weight is of course important, but also the ratio between the height and width of the vessel. It determines the probability of a vortex in the vessel. Depending of what you are going to mix, it is sometimes desired or not desired to have a vortex.
View the video and find out some tips of how you can make a quick sketch of the vessel, in an early stage of the design process, by using our Mixer Selector.
